I never actually measured it , if I was guessing the stock hood has to be 30 lbs or so and the CF one is probably 14 if I recall correctly

nice. I think I'm going to jump on the Jenny craig'n my car thing too now, well funds are limited so I dunno what I'll be doing. (boom07)

Install looks real clean. How long did it take to put everything in? So besides the GT Spec kit, what other suspension parts do you have?

the stock one is 25lbs without the amp, the other 52 was my sub, cap & amp

results : I think it handles better on turns for sure, either that or its in my head :)

I just installed my CF trunk could not wait, well I have not finished it yet

stock trunk 29.5 lbs, this one 12.5 so bye bye another 17 lbs, 82lbs today :D

Not sure who your talkin to......so ill just throw out my answer :) Took me about 2 hours to get everything in, and that includes trying to figure out where everything goes because of no instructions. I also have the Tein Springs for a lowered height on the stock Tokico Blues, sitting on Falken Azenis 615's (thumb)

Your car looks nice with the same goodies i got Tekkie, im going to have to post up a pic with the latch on......along with the Mazdaspeed badge i added today :)

Yeah! Enough with the compromise...what about the results!

As far as driving impressions goes........the ass end seems to be more intact with the road. And when making turns or going over wierd angles in the road, i can hear the rear trying to flex......so there is some creaking noises when its really quiet, especially at night. The noise is tollerable, especially knowing the car is trying to flex and the bars will not let it (thumb) Now i just need to add a rear strut tower bar and lower reinforcement braces and the rear isnt moving for damn sure (glare)

I agree that the rear feels tighter, and my suspension is completly stock for now... either late this month or next month I am installing my custom multimatic 46mm piston struts that were custom made for a race car (thumb)

Ooops, sorry. The question was meant for Tekkie. But thanks for the response CitizenPro. Im just trying to find out how my suspension is going to be with a full GT Spec lineup of parts, Racing Beat swaybars, Eibach Springs and Tokico HPs. Ill be sitting on either Yokohama Parada or Kumho ECSTA MX tires (215 or 225/40/17). Does GT Spec even have instructions to install their bars?

guys I ended up not even putting the lock back in :) the CF was not moulded flat around that area but it does not look that bad so I might leave it like this
