cant tell... my initial thought though was intentional bc the whole is perfect. doesnt really look like a car did it but ho knows.... and there isnt any paint transfer. but that could mean something metal hit it. who knows

My guess... Receiver Hitch & Ball... prolly some SUV-poser mofo' backed into you... 's why I always park waay away from the fray...

yeah i usually park far away but the malls are packed these days and cars are everywhere. i couldnt avoid it. thats what i was thinking it could be. im gunna take some pics and have them up tonight. so you guys can see what it looks like.

Same thing happened to me man. All the way through the paint. My insurance company paid to get it fixed so it only cost me a $100. They did a good job and glad the insurance paid as it was over $800 to get it fixed.

your deductible was only $100? thats cool i think mine is 500

Ahh that sucks.

Similair thing happened to my co-worker's Mazda 6. But here in Vegas we have a place called Bumper Medic that fixes that kind of stuff. I guess they call it like "plastic welding". Was around $500.

Good Luck

got an estimate for the damage today.. grand total is $900.00

Sorry to hear about the gash. Some POS side swiped me in a parking lot when I wasn't even in my car when I had my MSP. The damage was 10X worse. So I know how you feel especially when the pricks won't even own up to it and just drive off. $900 seems a little steep for the fix, then again body shops are historically known for price gouging. I know there's a fiberglass filler can be purchased at a low cost that might help to seal up the gap...granted it won't be a perfect match to the bumper, but it would be much much cheaper and a lot tougher to notice it once the filler is painted over...just my 2 cents.

the bodyshop said they are going to replace the whole bumper and paint it . im thinking maybe i will just save up and get the autoexe. its a thought... nothing it settled. i went to 2 body shops and the 1st one had a bunch of pricks in it. the second was a mom and pop and they were pretty nice.. i heard about another body shop that does all the mail trucks in the area and apparently the guy doesnt let the car out the shop until its perfect. hes a perfectionist
