if i were you, i'd post my job in my profile...if you see someone posting about buying a car or prices, etc...let them know what you do and offer all the help/advice possible. don't just come here in search of business.

just my opinion.
And the truth shall set you free!!

There is a browns off of 123 i know the store you're talking about. OUR store is off of route 1 in alexandria just shy of 495. If there is anything i can do to wrong what fairfax has done please let me know, or if you would like management to get involved i can arrange that too. I apologize for the bad experience you had at fairfax.

oo ok well i have beef w/ alex browns too. in june some lady didn't let me and my father test drive the orange msp... i forgot her name.. doh. :-p

can u feel my love towards dealerships :-p

edit: well she said i could, but then the MGR came out and talked to me.. and was like ARE YOU SERIOUS bout buying the car wah wah wah fukc ya'll. i bought mine elsewhere.

(sorry i'm still angry u discriminate based on looks)

skilletrx, some dealers don't allow test drives on MSPs...simply because:
1. break-in period. how many people jump into the car and actually respect the break-in period? most people who just test drive are doing it to see what the car will do.
2. it's like any other "limited production" (even though it really isn't) car...people who buy it don't want miles on the car. most people will b**** if it has 15-20 miles on it.

we only allowed test-drives on MSP and Evo's IF someone put a deposit down or their down payment UP FRONT...that way we at least knew they were SERIOUS about buying the car. it's nothing against you...they're just making sure that the break-in period is respected. trust me. my manager let someone test drive a MSP once...needless to say, it didn't happen again. so don't be pissed...you should appreciate the fact that no one else drove the car but the buyer.

Back then we had a wreck in an RX-8 that cost the dealership a car. Shortly thereafter we were a little nervous to test drive the high performance cars mazda offers. I apologize for the inconvenience and i know who you are speaking about. Please take some comfort that she is no longer here. I now also understand your confusion about dealerships. She had the same last name as myself. Noelene Hughes - Jonathan Hughes. We are not related it was just a coincidence. I hope this clears things up and in the future you might give myself or another one of us a second shot. If not i totally respect that and wish you the best.

Note: It's not company policy to discriminate based on looks. I wish we could all follow that, I know that this dealership NOW has enforced this policy.

Yes well I do apologize my friend.. if theres anything i can do to make it up to you please let me know.. how about a free car wash and detail? would that be okay? :-) allow us to make up for what happened, plus i'd love to meet another MSP owner face to face.. I know so few around here :-)

im sorry if i seem hostile didn't mean to gear it towards you.. too many dealers sigh. anyways have u dyno'd w/ ur cai/dp??

Not yet.. But i tell ya what.. I got some new parts I'm going to throw on today would you like to come in and receive what i offered you as well as compare parts and cars?
(nana)

naw no thanks, u've done no wrong towards me and i apologize for my hostility - I'm at virginia tech right now anyway =P what parts u get.

hey. can u get me some headlights from canada at cost? or 10 percent over cost? -=P i need the blacked out p5 headlights..

I bought the Apex-I Downpipe and a custom 2.5 inch catback built by a company in richmond. Also have the Injen Intake and just picked up Boost and A/F guages.

Ahh..so you are a dealer. Here is the question - if i were to come to a dealership and ask your service to replace wiper control for the MPV thing with the variable intermittent speed - would they do it? Would it be any better for maintaining warranty status then doing it elsewhere?

WHy not just do this yourself? It takes about 15minutes, you only need a phillips screwdriver. YOu just need to get one of the intermittent wiper stalks/control unit from either the Junkyard or from here: http://www.mazdastuff.com/product.cfm?ProductID=1423

I am sure the dealer will charge you for the stalk and labor to install it.

Because then when the warranty repairs will be needed (and i have no doubt they will be one day) dealer may (and probably will) blame anything on this replacement. I.e. "this has broken an ionic conjector in a main computer causing an engine shut down every 5 minutes, no warranty repair for you". I am trying to avoid squabbles with a dealer later on when serious stuff breaks by paying a little in the beginning - that is of course if they will do it.

I will vouch for the dealership. Noelene hooked me up so well I thoghut I stole the car from them. The parts dept. sucks there though.
