You would be proud of me if you could rub your hand on my car....I put four coats of wax on it last week and I got to looking and it still needs more.....at least I only drive my car on the weekends so the rest of the time it just sits in the garage. I just got done cleaning the underbody the other day, but anyway just thought that I would share that with you Mr. Detailer.

How does the yellow propel pad stand up against the yellow LC pad. I mean are they equivelant in agressiveness?

Fantasic. It pays to have quality products. I need to do this on my Flamenco Black Pearl - Acura CL.

come on, share some secrets. tell us what you used and how. my car has some swirls but not noticeable enough to kill me. i got no time now anyway. but my bro's MDX (black) is all swirly.

Wash with ProtectAll Quick and Easy Wash.
Poorboy's SSR2.5 and yellow Propel pad via Porter-Cable 7424. Spread on speed 1, work on speed 6.
Poorboy's SSR2 and green Propel pad via Porter-Cable 7424. Same speeds as above.

Then a couple shots after ClearKote Vanilla Moose and Poorboy's Nattys Wax...

He did so in the first post. To take care of swirls and scratches you will need a machine unless you are superman. Best for novice is the Porter Cable 7336 or 7424, backing plate plus some pads 6.5" ones are preferable for that machine. Many companies make them. Mr. Detailer uses Propel I use Lake Country. Meguiar makes some and so do many others. Then you need polish according to the type of swirls you have there are tons available companies are Meguirs, 3M, Menzerna, Poorboy's World to name a few. If you would like to invest in these products i would adivse you to read up on the internet first autopia and detail city have wonderful forums that have taught me a lot.
