Got some mail today...

I think its the bracket to the brake lines not sure but when I tried to go at lowest the lock ring was gonna hit the bracket.

yea, I know what you are talking about. I was looking at mine out of the box and it looks like the threads were put into the shock body before the bracket was welded on.
I vaugly remember someone noting that you can't get to the lowest recommended setting due to interference with the bracket in question.

If you would really like to go lower in the front... Just ditch the helper springs like... (bolt)

Without the helper springs you'd be scraping....maybe thats what you want :)

I've been scraping... It's just the protective plastic strip. No big deal!

And I've only banged my frame once over a speed MOUNTAIN. Still trying to figure out which way i'm gonna go to get the rears lower.

Having a little issue. My front left ( I think ) is making rubbing noises. sometimes it makes the noise when I am just turning mildly. Do you think im rubbing on the inside, or do you think im too low?

take off your wheel and check for scuffing on the fender or fender liner. you should be able to see where it's rubbing and adjust from there.

Same issue here but mine does the right side. Im rubbing when i turn the steering wheel all the way. Im running 235/40 tires not yellow said thats normal.

yeah, i sometimes get a slight rub at full lock turn with 235/40... no big deal. but sounds like shaneS is getting a rub with only a partial turn of the wheel and a stock(i think) wheel/tire setup. could be some other issue...

By the way Z i test drove my car with the pipe it pulls a little harder. The car feels like when i had my cobb downpipe. I'll check the car in two days cause i think i had some leak when i was warming up the car.

Did this just start happening? You only had them installed for a week right?

well it started happening more often after a week.

I finally have money for wheels, going with 18x8.5 +30, do you think 225/40 will work good?

did you have a lot of settling?

Wow 8.5 wide at +30? Even 225s might rub there. I'm not speaking from experience though so don't take my word on it.

Theres antherbguy on here with the same wheel size, but with 245/45 which is a huge difference, obviously im looking for an agressive setup

even with a good roll, you'll probably rub in the rear. either need a higher offset or a narrower tire.

Well im gonna get a really good roll and maybe a small pull. i just dont to drive on really stretched tires

Yeah the offset is too low i have 18x8.5 +43 on mine with 235/40 tires, i still rub a little because of the plastic part of the fender. Not yellow cut his i might sand it down.
