Got pulled over already - a new record!

Yup, I had my MS3 for 5 whole days before getting pulled over. I was accelerating onto a highway and there was a slow-poke in front of me, so when a lane opened up I put my foot down and zipped past at about 80...shortly thereafter I've got a whole bunch of flashing lights in the rear-view so I pull over. The cop was nice, he was just concerned because he was behind me when I decided to stomp on it and do 80 in a 55 zone, so he was just wondering what the deal was. I told him it was a brand new car, so he made the observation that it "goes pretty good, doesn't it?" Yes, yes it does. Anyway I apologized and he let me go with a warning, something that never happened in the RX-8.
Can anybody else beat 5 days in a new ride before getting pulled over?

first day i got my car i raced a eclipse gsx or gts, one of the old ones. and got pulled over for doing 130 in a 70. how i didnt get towed and arrested is a whole nother story. You just gotta love having a new car that is faster then your old one

in my more immature days, i was doing 137 on I-95 in SC in broad day light, managed to slow down to 110 as soon as i saw the cop in the median. i pulled over immediately before he even had a chance to pull out, which i think helped me. i think had i not done that, i would've been arrested.

Everyone but me ran. They all got away and i am still paying the ticket. finally finished my community service.

I didn't get pulled over, but I bought my car on December 16, 2000 and had an accident on December 16, 2001; on it's 1st birthday

Back in 2000 when i bought my VW i passed on paying 200.00 to get a silver VW(what i wanted) and took the black one they had on the showroom floor. Well less than 24 hrs later i got a speeding ticket and a noise ordinace ticket for the STOCK stereo. (cops were dicks in that area).
In total the bill was 215 dollars. I was kicking myself for not paying the 200 for the Silver GTI which would have taken 2 days to get there.

Damn. I get told by cops that I have a nice car but they still give me the speedin ticket. One said why dont you just take it on the highway like everybody else. At this time, I was just testing my BOV, And was doing like 55 in a 35 I think. I always get the $171.xx ticket, every time.

It's in the owners manual as well. No break in period needed and 1-2 precautions if I recall. WHo reads instructions anyway!?

pulled over when i was on an over night test drive 55 in a 35... lol still bought it but man did that suck.
