Just thought I would share my joy with everyone. I got some BF Goodrich KDW 2's mounted on the racing harts and let me tell you how much they rock. I know not a winter tire but I sold my winter beater and it will be spring soon and im crazy and don't care if it snows. Plus I can use my woman's car whenever I please. The car already handles incredibly but now with some of the best dry and wet handling tires the handling is more than I can ever imagine. The tech who is also a buddy of mine took it for a spin after installing the tires. When he came back he couldn't stop smiling. There is barely any understeer when coming into corners. You point the car and it goes there. The steering response is awesome. I floored it in 1st after leaving Goodyear and actually had some traction at 8 psi. Maybe I will actually race my car this year either auto xing or at the Rock. The final price after everything was $490. Mounting and balancing was free, I didn't have to pay tax, and it was about 122 per tire. And these tires should last twice as long as the bad ass stock Potenzas. The treadwear is 300 compared to 130. So if anyone is looking for some nice performance tires I can vouch for these ones. My second choice for tire were the Goodyear Eagle F1's but my buddy couldn't get as good of a deal on those eventhough he works for Goodyear, wierd. Where has everyone been lately?
