Just thought I would share my joy with everyone. I got some BF Goodrich KDW 2's mounted on the racing harts and let me tell you how much they rock. I know not a winter tire but I sold my winter beater and it will be spring soon and im crazy and don't care if it snows. Plus I can use my woman's car whenever I please. The car already handles incredibly but now with some of the best dry and wet handling tires the handling is more than I can ever imagine. The tech who is also a buddy of mine took it for a spin after installing the tires. When he came back he couldn't stop smiling. There is barely any understeer when coming into corners. You point the car and it goes there. The steering response is awesome. I floored it in 1st after leaving Goodyear and actually had some traction at 8 psi. Maybe I will actually race my car this year either auto xing or at the Rock. The final price after everything was $490. Mounting and balancing was free, I didn't have to pay tax, and it was about 122 per tire. And these tires should last twice as long as the bad ass stock Potenzas. The treadwear is 300 compared to 130. So if anyone is looking for some nice performance tires I can vouch for these ones. My second choice for tire were the Goodyear Eagle F1's but my buddy couldn't get as good of a deal on those eventhough he works for Goodyear, wierd. Where has everyone been lately?

idk... it seems every1 except u me and laser are hybernating... in forum aspect Tom is on AIM alot

I have been very busy with work... It never ends...

Anyways my engine will be coming out this weekend. I have the oil pan, rods, and pistons ordered... I can't wait for spring....

Sorry guys...I just got back from a 10 day cruise. I think Ben leaves for his cruise soon too.

As for the tires, can your buddy hook anyone up at that price? I will be needing tires this summer.

I don't think that would really be an issue. What type of tire and size you looking for? Give me an idea of what choices you have in mind and I will ask for you. He would be installing them off the clock so throwing a couple bucks at him wouldn't be a bad idea. I wouldn't be able to hook up everybody here but you for sure. Let me know.

Cool...I plan to keep the stock rims, so probably the stock size, unless we can go a tad wider?

well now! i am in need of tires also! but i would really like to get a set of Gold or bronze rims to have these said rubbers wrapped around! any1 know of any used or new for a good price that fit the msp? i would be willing to sell my stockers that have very little life left on the potenzas and some rash on the sides of 2 of the rims

I was thinking about getting those but I went with the Potenzas re750s

How is the traction?
It is incredible. One of the best dry traction ratings on tire rack.

i have BFGoodrich KDW 2's on my RH's. They definitly beat the stock potenzas, and arn't as expensive either.

i have a feeling they don't offer in size 195 or 205/16...
Your feelings are confirmed. They come in a 205 but not as small as a 16 inch rim. Sorry.

How long have you had them? I got mine installed in Jan and they haven't seen warm pavement. I'm pretty excited for some tight cornering and launches.

Those are some nice tires you got there. I just rotated my tires cause my rs 2's are bald as hell. Now I have all season bridgestone up front with about 70% tread. Still dont get good traction.

Im going to get some azenas(spelling?) in a few months.
