Got my Carbon Fiber Trunk Yesterday

I will try to contact JSP today........like you said, I am just the middlewoman, but I agree that's pretty ****** up. What did the shipping company say? Maybe if you get something from them saying it wasn't chipped b/c of shipping, that might help?
I know a different woman there, I'll try pleading your case to her. Maybe it will help.

thanks you've done a kick ass job getting this s*** set up, it just sucks that something like this had to happen...

Well, thats cool that JSP is offering to fix it for ya free(aside from shipping), so instead of claiming the whole thing, just make them ship it for free to get repaired..then if they **** it up again, make them buy you a new one. Oh, and that is so hot man, I really love the look of smooth, clean, happy CF...I really kinda only want a hood though, and maybe a few interior pieces..but still...CF...lol.

looks just like my vis minus the trunk lock hole.... "normally" shipping companies are good abt these type of things. the only problem is some take a while to pay!
how come they dont have a VIS trunk on there site?

No s*** i shouldn't, but i got so fed up that i'm just going to have this local company fix it or make a M3 style lip spoiler to cover it up. DHL wants a repair statement so that they can cover the damages, so if i'm lucky it won't cost me anything.

I put the trunk on this weekend, fit was pretty good(although i still have to mess with it) except for the fact the the factory screws were to short. It looks good, to bad the first thing people notice is the chipped spot.

matty it depends on the k rating of the hood... ie if 1000k then it will prob buckle... 3000k prob not so much. Also depends if it a fiberglass overlay or full cf item.
