I pick up the car last night and the car had 7 miles by the time I parked it, it was up to 20 miles. The car is awesome !!!!

They chrome plated the wheels on the '02.5's??

Chromed alloy is pretty rare - The process does something to weaken the alloy.

The wheels on the '02's were just polished alloy.

Congratulations! I liked the feeling of so few miles when I picked mine up too. I think I actually put about 80 miles that first day! lol. Anyways, enjoy your stay, there is lots of good info and people here!

I agree 110% Dragonfly. Whenever I see a new member join and see their first post I just kind of smile because I know what's coming later in the thread.

I agree on this one too. He has given me more advice than I can really remember. That it why when I find a post of interest to me with the advise provided..... Cut and past the URL for that thread into a word document. Yeah, I'm geeky like that.

Judging from responses I have read here in the past 3 months the odds are approximately 99% versus 1% that you will love your new car. Are they perfect? No. Do they offer an unbeatable combination of good styling, good cornering, good hauling capacity, good gas mileage, decent acceleration, and are they an absolute blast to drive? We all bought one didn't we?

You also found a very good forum here. It runs about the same 99% great people who are ready and willing to give you pointers and advice on ANYTHING about your car. Always use the search button first. I found out quickly that most everything you can think of has already been discussed in this forum. Read and learn from those who have been driving this fun little car around for a few months - or even a year for a few of us. You wont regret it. Great choice on your new purchase and once again...welcome!
