Got hit by a hit-and-run driver

So some idiot in a U-haul plowed into the left rear corner of our Mz5 while it was parked on our street yesterday. Someone saw the accident and left me a note with the plate number. The cops are writing it up now. It's dark and raining, so no pics right now. The damage is to the bumper and to the metal panel above the bumper. The hatch looks fine. What a bummer...

yeah...you're very lucky somebody saw it and got plate numbers. somebody hit my drivers side door while it was parked but unfortunately for me, nobody was around to see it. i'm still driving around with a huge dent on the door...knowing my luck it'll get hit again after i fix it.

Hope everything lines up ok after they fix it...Lucky you for the person that saw it and wrote the stuff down...The Jackass that did it probably thought they got away with it
