Got a damn CEL today!!!!!

I hooked up the DashHawk and it retrieved a historical code, but my CEL was on...? (huh)

Anyway, it wound up being P0430 or something like that...I can't believe I forgot it...regardless, the description of the issue was the "Catalyst below threshold (bank2)"...

I figure this has something to do with my CP-E Catted DP...?

I cleared it and I couldn't retrieve it from DashHawk nor the ECU...
I guess I'll have to keep an eye on it...

I was so excited it wasn't an O2 sensor or something else serious that I just erased it and started playing with the new DashHawk... I'll do better next time in reporting...
 
Youre CPE catted dp uses a high flow cat, doesnt it? That would be where the ECU is pulling the code because of the less heat the high flow cat produces.

another code the 2nd o2 sensor sends when the cat is not working properly. most of these hi flow cats are a joke, they wont even pass emissions and half the time they stip trip the sensors.
 
I get the 2nd o2 sensor "slow response" code somtimes???? wonder what cause that one, maybe a defective sensor, im debating taking it back to the dealer. what do you think?
 
i got the p0421 code a couple weeks ago... deleted it and it still hasn't come up yet, but i've noticed the car takes alot longer to warm up .... and im guessin the only difference between the two is that one says bank 1 and bank 2... im not to sure what that means
 
after going for a drive today i ended up getting another CEL... i dont have a obd reader but i'm pretty sure it's the p0421 again, so i wouldn't be surprised if it comes back for you as well
