Has anyone tried either of these tires?
I did swap stock Michelins to Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring on my Honda Odyssey.
The Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring were very quiet in comparison to the former Michelins.
I am planning to switching to them when time comes on our CX-5s.
I did go with the tourings as all reviews/users did rate those much better than non touring version.
I don't remember which Michellins I had. Whatever OEM 2007 Odysseys had.
Assurance ComforTred "Touring" were much, much quieter than stock ones. The handling was not worse for sure. I did not notice any substantial differences in wet/snow/etc. Tournings looked much better too due to their side walls having nice looking pattern.
I am very curious how tournings would perform with 17" CX-5. I have no complaints of any sort with stock tires CX-5 has.
Update - Installed Continental "True Contact" on Mazda cx-5 touring....Excellent tire thus far. Quieter than stock yokos, & Michelin latitude tour. Good steering response, more comfortable ride & LESS NOISE!!!
Has anyone tried either of these tires?
Before I had Conti's on my old Maxima I always thought of Continental as just budget tire company that wasn't anything special
Consumer Reports also rated the Conti Cross Contact Lx20's highly. Should be very good tires.
