Ya I'm going to try to find a 2001 s4 for not too much but if I don't find one then I'll go with the WRX. Lol two good choices can't complain at all.

But mazda declined my claim for chipped 2nd gear tooth and I had to b**** and tell them how retarded they are til they finally changed their mind. But, what I had to deal with and the people will make me never want another mazda. I met a mazda tech and holy s*** was he retarded.

i have a feeling it was due to your dealer. There are alot of dealers out there who actually care about there customers not only there pockets, and dosent sound like you got one of them. I dont think its fair to say you would never own another mazda because your dealer has a toothpick stuck in his ass, they make a fair amount of good cars

used WRX are CHEAP, def a safe bet, and aftermarket is huge. There was one for sale on the lot i bought my speed at. 2002 with 55k on it, only wanted 11k, and that was last year.

o and kev, hows that turbo lag buddy? (fuoops) dnt get too far up humberto's ass (upbum)

Audi is another level euro than vw is lol.

But they're both about the same level of s*** in terms of reliability.

I find it funny the OP says he can't "afford" the MS3 any more when in reality it's for other reasons. ALL these other cars that have been mentioned will most likely either cost more to run (ie. insurance) and/or to fix. Don't get me wrong, I think Audis are GREAT cars when they're not sitting in the garage unwilling to start (again).

I guess the silver lining is that a 2001 S4 will be out of warranty, so he can't b**** to the dealer to get it fixed for free.

very good point, no warranty = pocket empty

Well im only 18 so my parents paid for some of this and car got a couple hot spot on clutch so it needs to be replaced so that cost me a grand and I got hit in a parking lot so I got a nice $900 bill for that. That and for some reason my insurance is very high and I was quoted down if I go WRX or S4. So yes it all comes down to the money.

If i didnt have transmission problem, clutch replacement and got hit by some b**** then I would probably keep the car but s*** happens.

Also bad timiing since my sister is graduating college and gets a new car and my parents want their money back from what they spent on the ms3 soooooo not too much i can do about it.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting the outcome to be different.

Sounds like your parents can't afford the MS3 but if they can't afford that, how can they afford a S4 or WRX?

Parents buying an 18yr old a ms3 is insane.

We all know this. Ive seen multiple threads head in this direction and it just gets ugly. Leave it be man.

To OP: You can pick up an 02-04/05 WRX usually pretty low, like 6-7000. A friend of mine just got an 04 for 5000 and put maybe 1000 dollars worth of work into it performance wise. Thats probably your best option. Good luck though!

Well i also put a good amount of money into this but they are selling this car cuz my sister needs a new one and she is graduating college and im now entering and she needs a new car more then me.

Yeah im leaning towards a 04 WRX. I got about $10-11k any other good options for a quick car that is reliable.
