yea that is a kick ass phone too! samsung has strong signal strength. it's a mp3 player, a camcorder with like a 4+ min record time. but if you do texting check out the new p207 the have i does text to speech recognition! so no more typing text messages!

excellent that was my worst problem with moto... warr. was the biggest hassle ever.

trust me i know, i've got a nextel i860 as my personal phone and i've never had some much trouble out of a phone, and moto does nothing with their warranty.

1 screen, lost, and an antenna that came undone. I bought it the day it came out.. i had two 730s as well.

btw cingular has the worst ******* customer service ever. hours and hours and hours and hours on hold and you may or may not get your problem solved...tack on about 80 different menus you have to navigate as well. also, say for example your phone is ******, you might get transferred to 6 departments before you are completely done because no one can do more than one thing. for example: if your phone is ******, and you need a replacement, and want compensated for some of your monthly bill that you couldnt even use the phone, you will be more than likely transferred between three separate depts...one for tech support, one for rma, and one for customer service/billing. i had a problem with them - a huge one, their mistake - and i spent over 13 hours on the phone just on hold, not counting talking between thurs - sat. thats not a friggin exaggeration either. then i still had to drive over an hour for a part, and still am fighting with credit agencies because THEY made a mistake and charged something to my credit. its a long story, but they eventually made up for it.

point is, service is great, customer service is the worst ive ever had. and ive been with att/cingular, verizon, nextel, and a few others. i dread even calling cingular for the slightest problems.

i left cingular for that reason... but the deal is worth it and i just buy insurance and just "lose" s*** then upload my sim card to my computer then download the s*** back to the new phone. Its easier then dealing with them about phones.

theyve gotten even worse with the merger. took them 7 hours to activate my two new phones. the gave me some number that was a business number that was charged off, and so they couldnt put my phones on a shared plan, then they jacked the other phone up...so i spent another 4 hours on hold and talking to get them to fix it two days later.

thats mainly because you didnt buy phones from them... they hate that. Mine will be mailed to me setup and im taking my current number to cingular since ive had it for 7 years now.

well sorry that you've had bad experiences. but i work for a reseller here which is a lil different but we have our own accounts and billing and customer service but we use the cingular network and sell their service.
