Going to Camp Lejeune.

I am going to Camp Lejeune in Feb. I need some advice on where to look for a place to stay (Apt.). Also, what will be some good things to do while I am there for 2 years..

I would prefer not to live on base, I am going to 2nd Mar Div. This sucks because Ill be taking a $700 paycut . So how is life out there? Whats the rent like?

i live in wilmington, so its much more expensive. if u want to live somewhere nice, try topsail island or surf city. less than 20 minutes away and VERY nice

i pay 1050 for a 3 bedroom, should be similar - ~450 for 1bd, 650 for 2, etc

i am stationed in cherry point and lookin to meet some mazda peeps. anyone out there in the Havelock area...i would like to meet some mazda peepe due to the fact i have been a honda guy forever and now i am switched to mazda an dont know too much about them..i have an mp3 with aftermarket headers intake and jus put some 19's on her..i need help finding parts and all...anyone out that can help..

I had my Honda Hooked up in Cherry Point, Now switched to a Mazda too...lol
MAG-14 was my unit.
Not alot to do but theres alot of clubs in Jacksonville and Fayetteville is about 80ish miles from Lejeune and theres mad s*** there since its a huge ass city.....Ooh Rah
