Glass Cleaning, why wont this move?

I tried to use these towels but there is so much resistance form the glass that I cant hardly move them along the glass so they end up a bunched up mess or they just don't move.
This is for interior and exterior windows except for my sun roof which I clayed for the hell of it, and in glides across that.

What am i doing wrong?

Have you clayed all of the windows? Try using one damp towel and then another dry one behind it.
