Mine is starting to fade somewhat. But the wife can still see it and she is not happy about it nor am I. Maybe since yours is silver it won't be too bad. Like any other mod you just have to go for it.
If you want to get a new antenna look into the VG sharkfin. You can get it color matched to your car and it still works, really easy install soon. I have the same color car as yours. This is my car domain site, alot has changed since then. I blew the motor and have/am doing alot of changes in the process.
Yeah, I figured it would be expensive... I know there is a grille there, and I'm wondering if it is all one piece, or if it is in three different sections.. because if it is one piece, then the middle area below my license plate will be empty..
So I used to work at a Kia dealer and people always wanted to upgrade to factory fogs all the time. What we did was remove the plastic cover where the fogs go, install the fog lamps, ( on most cars, the wiring is there even if you don't have that option. ) hook up the lamps then go inside the car and replace the headlamp switch, which on Kia's and it is the same in my 3, the fog on/off switch is on that switch. All you need is the lamps and a new headlight switch with the fog switch. Yeah it might be spendy, you might want to look into aftermarket fogs assy's and maybe look around at a u pull it for a used switch. Also find out if all the wiring is there too.
So basically the easier and more expensive way is to buy all factory or OE aftermarket parts and install them.
The harder but less expensive way would be wire in your own fogs from an aftermarket kit.
