Check eBay. Sometimes I see some decent coils for cheap. But it's random.u can get some Ground control sleeves brand new from eBay for less then $400 if I'm not mistaken. Someone else had some skunk 2 coils on their also.

in all honesty i dont even consider the garbage called sleeves to even qualify to be called coilovers, but thats personal opinion.

Yea I feel the same way but I figured I let him know. I am more familiar with hondas then mazdas anyways since it's all Ive ever owned lol but I heard that ground control coilover sleeves with koni yellow struts are one of the best suspension that u can buy that will be affordable and reliable. It's all over the Internet if u don't believe me. I myself bought a set of d2 suspension for a Honda and I hated those dam 1 piece coilover suspension. Glwyf bro

I have AWR coilovers I am selling. They are kind of noisy, and have very stiff springs currently, but from a performance aspect, they are probably the best you can get for the Protege.

Hey I have the ground control sleeves with eibach springs and the ride is amazing, just saying...

i completely believe you. but i wanna get stanced, so i will need camper adjustment, and i dont want to buy seperate plates for it.
