GI-Production number plate's (MP3's)

Ok, it has taken me a while to make this because I have not been happy with the last three simple's that were made....This is CLOSE to the final product I still want to fix/change some thing's though....

The rivit on plate like the MSP GB had the guy cannot make so, this will likely just be for 1-2 stick-on plate's if a GB does happen....

I can't really throw out a price because, it will depend on how many order's that I turn in. it should be somewhere in the $20 range.

I'm going to go ahead and start this thread a little early. I planned on making plate's for you guy's after all is said and done with my MSP plate's GB. See here for that thread:

Anyway's,I will need to know who is sirious about buying them before I get started and I guess you guy's can start a list of people that want them. As far as design's go for them I am still tossing around a few idea's and I don't have anything set in stone or to show you all ATM....


Also,I will need to know the total number of MP3's that were built....

Well, there were 1500 MP3's made here in the states. And I would probably be interested in a set because I seem to be a sucker for little stuff like this. I'm curious as to what your mounting location ideas are though (since you don't have a pic I'm trying to imagine where I'd mount them).

There were also another 250 made in Canada, but as with the MSPs, there were no production numbers for some f'ed up reason...I would really like one as the pix in your other thread look great. Looking forward to what you would have in mind.
If I could make a suggestion for the very few that would be interested up north, maybe put "1 of 250" instead of "#XXX of 250" preceded by a small maple leaf emblem to signify that it's a Canadian model? Something like this (without the "Canada" part):

I was thinking about that with the maple leaf and all (for MSP's). But,How would the numbering go? Like the first person that placed an order from canada would be number 1 and so on?


Then I thought about all the Shipping/Mailing problem's that I hear about people having when shipping an item to/from there and it just doesn't seem to be worth all the trouble to me. Like if an order get's lost it will likely come out of my pocket, and I'm just not willing to take that loss right now. Atleast that's how I feel about it ATM. If there is enough people interested though I will see what I can do for you guy's.....

As for shipping, it's really not that bad. Just use USPS and nothing but. I've only ever had 1 problem with Priority, and it's getting resolved as we speak, and I've ordered a LOT of stuff over the past year.

I will likely be shipping all plate's by USPS so I guess it wouldn't be a problem. Maybe adding insurance when shipping them would be a good idea...

I really don't know right now.

I would have to go over that and a design for the MP3 plate's with the guy making them to know what the pricing will be. I am just trying to see how many people out there want these right now so, I can go ahead and have a design/plate made up and have something solid to show you guy's.


Now if you want some one-off plate's made for yourself I will see what I can come up with for you....Or if you have a way to make a design that you want I can show it to the guy and get a price quote for you...That shouldn't be a problem...


Just give me a little time to finish up with my MSP GB and if the interest to make MP3 plate's does not seem to be there I will contact you and we will go from there.


I just want to see how this thread pan's out first....

There is a production number list in the MP3 section, if you ever added yourself it should still be there. If not, then just call mazda north america, the number is somewhere in the forum.

Anyone have a good pic of the MP3 Badge? I remember seeing it on here but,I am to lazy/tired to look....That would help me get an idea of what these could look like....

This is sirious this time folk's I will get something nice made up for you guy's if the demand is there. No BS,No 12 month wait with nothing being done in the end,etc...Like I have seen happen with these thing's being made in the past.... this can be done this time around....If enough people want them


I know it's hard to commit to wanting/buying one without seeing what it will look like first but,I want to know that people want them before I spend my hard earned money getting the first one designed/made. If you don't like what I come up with it can/will be changed to something everyone like's...
