i will be in the market for a intake mani after i buy my thunder ex mani.. sound good have to see quality..gains vs the 626

I would purchase such a product if it:

1. Retained the EGR valve and pipe and did not throw any CELs,
2. Came with all the parts required for installation, and
3. Came with a detailed set of installation instructions (I like to install all my aftermarket parts myself).

I had to chuckle to myself about your 3rd item. We have been writing detailed installation instructions for all of the parts that we have released from December of last year forward. The Mazdaspeed6 downpipe is the longest at 26 pages. The Mazdaspeed Miata Intercooler should be close to 30 pages when finished. An intake manifold should be about 10 pages worst case for installation instructions with pictures etc.

so than i'm in too ,
how long you thing it might take ??
just for info bc things like GI take forever to get in market.

Realistically 4-5 months. We would build 2-3 styles after we get done doing some homework, then spend alot of time on the dyno. Once the design is finalized we setup the mould for the casting and get a single made. Go back to the dyno test and make sure the results are the same. Once that is done 4-5 weeks for production.

If there are any problems or deisgn changes the process gets set back to isolate the problem and move forward from there.

ok this will give me some time too then, but id be in for shureeeeeee
and pls make it poss to get the best performance you guys can get out of IM

count me in

definately interested...but in the mean time...could someone fill me in on using a 626 intake manifold? I havent heard about this

Im in if it is a easy job, im not looking to do to much custom work.

Im in the same boat as "Professor MSP"

The manifold would be a bolt in setup using the stock rail and keep from having to do any custom work. It would include the needed gaskets if we make it.
