GI: MSP Tubular Mani / Downpipe

Vibrant is 3" before the cat, it is 2.5 " for the first 8" of teh j-pipe, that allows it to mate with the stock s-pipe. then it flares to 3" and a 3" flex pipe more pipe then the high flow. Also i plan on buying this s-pipe j-pipe combo and cutting and mating my vibrant to it.

The reason for this update is bc this GI manifold will be something of stock replacement instead of dedicated to T3.
I don't know nor it looks like there will be much of "customization" in this GI/GB round to make it possible for T3 + ext. WG option.

I've already obtained a GT30R so I need the manifold to work with it and as well as be able to use the Perrin/TurboLife FMIC at the same time, a bit complicated but unfortunately this is where I'm stuck.

As all of you know, "TBK manifold is like a shipment that is being delivered by a human messenger in foot ", so ....... I'll keep an eye to this GI

the manifold timeline is about 3 months. That's going to include testing and shipping back and fourth and revisions. Ill be giving updates along the away though so it wont seem as long. I have to drive on it and make revisiions but i want to make sure its a piece of art or its not going out.

downpipes are prolly month and a half once i get 2.0's pipe (no fault of his, all mine). again pics will be along the way.

indeed. this is the toughest part. soon as i get something i will share it. this is no fault of the shops. I had a death in the fam so things went late and shipping to the shop takes a lil longer than usual cause of location.

soon enough though. this is definately happening. Im not happy at all with any of the current manis (i had them all in my hands personally) so i want this to happen. Especially since my thunder is a time bomb.
 
Only dislike I have with the steed mani is the wieght, but I can live with that knowing that it'll never break. I had two Thunder manis. THe wieght and price was great on the Thunder but it is too much work to change them out every 5k miles or less.
 
LOL, I'm not even going to comment on my MAM mani... I've had it on and off twice already and I fully plan on leaving it that way for a while now. The only good thing is I can now remove the entire turbo assembly in about an hour now. Can't wait for that 3" downpipe - wait, that means I'll have to remove the exhaust mani again; damnit!

I saw alot more wrong with the steed one that i saw. perhaps it was just that one but there were a few things that concerned me. The welding was really nice though.
 
The SteedSpeed Mani's Welds are to die for. IMHO Some of the best welding to date i have ever saw.

Good News, they have the parts for the manifold and are going to be working on it asap.

They are starting with the flanges. Then will move on with modeling.
