GI: MSP Tubular Mani / Downpipe

I'll be on the downpipe list. s+j 3incher or anything bigger than stock and better design. I'll buy it for sure as long as I can use a credit card.lol

no but I'm in for that. and I'm serious about the credit card money is too hard to save for me. (drunk)

Yea, since i cant discuss money now cause of not being AMM i cant say much. but i will most likely take paypal, cc, money order (or certified check).

or cash if your local.

Im most likely doing a 1 piece. doing it seperate would make it just like the CS one and while i havent had an issue with mine, id like to avoid using alot of pieces.

So I would need to get my Vibrant cut and welded. Hmmmmm....I will say I'm interested but not committed yet to the DP and watch to see how this develops.

btw if you read his 1st post he needs to know who's interested now theres a window of 10 days to get this thing rolling if i read right. so if you want one speak up now only 9 days left to get the minimum

Iam intrested in a 3" however I already have the corksport so knowing that you cannot talk of prices it would have to be worth it.

As far as the downpipes go, heres the plan…

For the 2.5” This will be in the mild performance category. I will make this so it terminates where the stock J ends. This way u can use it with your midpipes and stock setup.

For the 3.0” This will be for the high performance category. I will make this end where the stock J does however it will not mate up to the stock midpipe. There is no point in doing so and I wont waste the fabricators time. I will most likely offer a 3” diamond flange or a V-band so you can make your own choice on that. Any reputable shop can facilitate this job.

For those with the vibrant, the J part of it is 2.5” anyhow so if u want the most performance out of it, u can mate the 3” downpipe to the 3” part of the Vibrant. Again, any reputable shop can handle this.

You have to realize, I cannot facilitate everyones setup. There are too many combinations to do so. I really wish I could make options for everyone to be happy but its just not possible. It would cost a fortune to RnD all the different combinations.

whatever is cheaper for me. I want a 3incher.

which is better, do you know or will you know of a place to get a cheap cat for this?

I ask cuz I have a catless dp on the side not on the car apexr1.
But what I have on now is a hiboost 2.5j-pipe which connects to the stock 2 bolt s*** then theres the stock cat, the sensor and after the sensor the exhaust is cut off and theres no piping at all no axle back no muffler. Exhaust ends at the front doors.

So I just wanna know ahead of time what cat would be the best and what material your gonna use since I'm gonna have to remake this part, and someone is gonna have to weld and ad the cat etc. ???

this part is pre cat pipe. itll stop where the stock J ends. the cat pipe isnt really the downpipe, thats the midpipe but apex and some others call it the downpipe. any highflow cat would be fine. I have a vibrant, magnaflow is good too.

no I know it's not a part of the downpipe and where yours is going to end I understood that. The apex one is just long I was just saying that I'm not trying to go catless with your dp.

I guess wouldnt it be easier to eliminate a flange all together then at the end at least for me?

cuz if there was no flange, then another 3in pipe could be welded to the end of your s+j-pipe, then a cat, then I'd make a hole for the sensor. And the hangers hold up the pipe obviously.

yea I want no flange if it's cool.

Like I said def intrested. In the down pipe. Already have a mani so I cannot jump in the air about that one.

ahh got ya. yea no flange wouldnt matter i wouldnt think. in fact, that would prolly be easier lol
