I'm starting to debate whether its worth keeping a modified car or not. As some of you know, my charging system just stopped working and I had to be towed home today. I'm full of frustration and all I can think about is wanting a new car. I ordered a part that I think will fix my problem but I don't think its going to work. I just want to see if anyone would want anything off my car if I did part out and return to stock. Nothing is set in stone and if the part does fix my problem I will most likely keep everything. Off the top of my head, I'll list what might be for sale in the near future.

I have the part and now its just a matter of installing and jumping the engine. If this doesn't work, I'm going to try get a quote on the repair costs and I'll determine from there what to do. I hate to give up but its hard trying to fix something when you don't know the cause of it.

I already got the bluebook value of my car and it looks like everything on my car would be no problem to get rid of. I really don't wanna ditch out on this but I guess we'll see what happens. I'd rather pay to fix the problem than have car payments for the next couple of years so lets hope for the best...

i feel the fustration dude. my eclipse was down for 4 months because of some electrical problem... which i still haven't figured out (smash) , just ended up bypassing the starting system so i could get the damn thing running.
hope everything works out for you, whichever way it may go.

Heres an update...so far I changed my IAT sensor, alternator, and battery. I checked all my fuses today and everything was fine. I'm out of ideas and my car is going to the repair shop tomorrow.

After thinking about how much I love the car, I decided to just part it out but probably keep it as a stock car. Once the car gets out of the shop, I will probably take a day to put all stock parts back on and then I can actually start selling it. But so far I think everything I listed has been called dibs on so far so thats a plus.

As for the hood, the damage most of you have probably seen but it has started to oxidize pretty heavily. My friend said he can take it all off so before I sell it, it should be in decent shape. As for the lip, I'll take a pic and post it up asap. Its just a little battle damage.
