Oh and I killed the bracket. Here is a simple diagram of what happened.

here's a bad sound clip that i recorded from my mp3 player, unfortunately the file i recorded while outside the car isnt that good, so i didnt post it up... and bout the a/c problem, when i asked my shop if they encountered any problem, they did mention something about the a/c line... maybe that was it ummm anyways here are the clips:
the problem they are referring to is just that the AC line gets in the damn way.(gtfo) Yours was jigged correctly or it would not have installed at all, unless the shop beat the hell out of the pipe and bent it. You cannot relocate the AC compressor. Hopefully I got the fluke pipe and there will be no more issues. The one posted by mx3ownzj00 looks like it will clear everything. His bend starts well before mine did.(cool)

So if you already mangled your bracket, why do you still need a replacement pipe?
I think he said even after the mangle it would not work.

Keep in mind that those sound clips were with the car inside a garage. It really sounds just like my CS exhaust. I for one am now on the list. I just have to wait until after Christmas (went overboard at Best Buy!). This sure seems like a great part from a great dealer.

My Downpipe is jigged incorrectly for certain. It started out by hitting the bracket that the compressor is mounted on. I tried to just solve it by cutting a section of the bracket away. After i tried to remount the compressor, it is hitting the pipe. It is keeping the compressor around 0.5 inch from being able to be lined up with its holes.

I want to know if you can hear the turbo spooling up more... I love hearing that sound, it's what get's me going in the morning.

with my custom 3inch exhaust I could clearly hear the turbo spooling through my exhaust when I was outside the car. It was something I didnt hear with the stock exhaust. all I hear inside the car is the spooling through the CAI.

i would imagine also if you have an aftermarket intake it would be louder also since thats where the noise would come from. my friends cav with a t3/t4 didnt have filter on his and it sounded like a jet. ahh good times.

Do you have a picture of the downpipe before it was installed Vicocola? I would like to compare it with the bends in my downpipe? to see how different it is.

Damn, I also thought the intro price was only on the turboback. Ain't that a b****.

I thought the intro price was $995 for the TB exhaust, and the price of $538 for the catted DP was for good?? If not, I am very sad, because I'd love to take a DP for $538 shipped if I still can rather than $665. That's a big difference. My car really needs a DP at this point.

sorry i'd like to have a pic to compare too, since the rattling make the exhaust seems like some cheap custom work and i wonder where my exhaust was hitting when its in low rpm... as for the sound of the exhaust, i think the sound was perfect, only problem is our car doesnt do a good job as blocking the sound out, if the same pipe was in my buddy's wrx, it will be quiet as hell...

i am gonna get under the car rite now to see wut my shop did w/ the a/c bracket and the downpipe to make it fit... hopefully if i can find my digital camera lying around somewhere, i'll take some pic see if u guys know where the problem is also...

accerelation mainly, the car pick up a bit faster than before, either that or its just because i didnt drive my car for 4 days lol

yay bought some heat resistant rubber piece and heat resistant tape and wrap around the axle bar thing gap that rattles from hitting the exhaust, so far so good, anyone think its a bad idea?

PS this was installed all without removing the manifold or turbo or radiator. Anyone who does not believe that it can be done doesnt have a good enough swivel rachet and a little imagination. pic of it installed (original DP removed) without removing anything but the top IC pipe and removing AC compressor.
