Oh and I killed the bracket. Here is a simple diagram of what happened.

the problem they are referring to is just that the AC line gets in the damn way.(gtfo) Yours was jigged correctly or it would not have installed at all, unless the shop beat the hell out of the pipe and bent it. You cannot relocate the AC compressor. Hopefully I got the fluke pipe and there will be no more issues. The one posted by mx3ownzj00 looks like it will clear everything. His bend starts well before mine did.(cool)Vicocola said:here's a bad sound clip that i recorded from my mp3 player, unfortunately the file i recorded while outside the car isnt that good, so i didnt post it up... and bout the a/c problem, when i asked my shop if they encountered any problem, they did mention something about the a/c line... maybe that was it ummm anyways here are the clips:
I think he said even after the mangle it would not work.peepsalot said:So if you already mangled your bracket, why do you still need a replacement pipe?

03Blkmicaspd said:My Downpipe is jigged incorrectly for certain. It started out by hitting the bracket that the compressor is mounted on. I tried to just solve it by cutting a section of the bracket away. After i tried to remount the compressor, it is hitting the pipe. It is keeping the compressor around 0.5 inch from being able to be lined up with its holes.

sorry i'd like to have a pic to compare too, since the rattling make the exhaust seems like some cheap custom work and i wonder where my exhaust was hitting when its in low rpm... as for the sound of the exhaust, i think the sound was perfect, only problem is our car doesnt do a good job as blocking the sound out, if the same pipe was in my buddy's wrx, it will be quiet as hell...03BlkMicaSPD said:Do you have a picture of the downpipe before it was installed Vicocola? I would like to compare it with the bends in my downpipe? to see how different it is.
what kind of gains have you noticed?Vicocola said:sorry i'd like to have a pic to compare too, since the rattling make the exhaust seems like some cheap custom work and i wonder where my exhaust was hitting when its in low rpm... as for the sound of the exhaust, i think the sound was perfect, only problem is our car doesnt do a good job as blocking the sound out, if the same pipe was in my buddy's wrx, it will be quiet as hell...
i am gonna get under the car rite now to see wut my shop did w/ the a/c bracket and the downpipe to make it fit... hopefully if i can find my digital camera lying around somewhere, i'll take some pic see if u guys know where the problem is also...
accerelation mainly, the car pick up a bit faster than before, either that or its just because i didnt drive my car for 4 days lolsiberiankiss said:what kind of gains have you noticed?
