GHL Motorsports True Turboback Pictures

Woohoo, my order is shipping out today. Should arrive in TX about the same time I do :)

I am also a little worried about no flex pipe. Please comment on what was done to take engine movement into account? or educate why it is not necessary. Thanks!

I talked to Phil about this and he pointed out something I had completely forgotten. The factory exhaust has no flex pipe either. The design of the exhaust hangers that hold the mip-pipe section allow for vertical and horizontal movement. It never really oocured to me that this was true. But, when I was underneath my car playing around a couple weeks ago. Sure enough, he was right. Plenty of play.

Got my downpipe yesterday...beautiful! (wow) Can't wait to get it installed...will look at it this weekend, but probably won't get to it until next weekend...will update as soon as I get it on! (burnout)

So with this exhaust, I guess it would be best NOT to go with kartboy hangers?

FYI: I got mine today!!!!!!

As far as I know, I am the 2nd person to have their turbo-back. And to confirm, yes, it does look beautiful in person. Me and my hazexban drooled over the welds. We're looking to install it prob the latest next Friday, after Thanksgiving. I'll be sure to have sound/video clips then dyno numbers.

I dunno guys should I buy this?? Right now I have Ion's 2.5 catless downpipe bolted up to this stock catback. I can't tell any difference after taking my greddy sp2 off. Will this be worth it or not? I can't make up my mind.

well i can say this, i got a shatty 3" crush bent stainless, catless exhaust and i can tell a big difference, and mine just starts where the midpipe is (i got it for dirt cheap). So im definately anticipating a huge difference with a quality piece like this, and with true 3" all the way. i say yes get it, they are extremely nice, and for 995 shipped with lifetime limited warranty u cant touch that with a 10ft pole.

Keep in mind that Ion pulled 22 additional HP with there 3" true turbo back. Not sure if that was with or without a cat. But, for sure this exhaust is worth the investment.

I still remember an article I read shortly after I bought my car that said something to the effect that the only thing holding the MSP back from being a truly great car was the lack of a decent FMIC and the bottle neck created in the DP.

Well i'll probably order one within the next week. I already have a new fmic, so exhaust is next. This car is costing me too much, this is the 2nd fmic and will be then 2nd exhaust, 4 intakes, and some other stuff!! Oh well its fun.

Let's not forget the 77 whp that Magnus got from thier Jpipe back exhaust! Even Joe P fell for that one!

Yes you should get this exhaust.

I can't wait for my downpipe. I'm expecting a night and day difference, especially in higher rpms where the turbo starts to choke as the exhaust gases aren't being dispelled quick enough.

I wouldn't worry about getting a catback to finish off your iON pipe if your iON dp has a their s-pipe, but if you're still running a stock s-pipe, definately get rid of it for the GHL system.
