Golani said:Painting them is really pretty easy. Just the 5 lug nuts on the wheel and 2 14mm bolts holding the calipers in place (might be 12mm). Slide the calipers up and off and the rotors will come right off. From there just mask the brake surface with some tape, grind off the rust with a sanding disc (5 bucks at autozone) or something similar and paint away. Took me maybe 3 hours to do and most of that was going to the store and letting the paint dry between coats.
Edit: In theory you could get it fixed under warranty if you were so inclined to fight that battle. Under the 12k mile appearance warranty.

Where did you get them and how much?
I took my car to Brown Mazda in Fairfax. I had mods, and they did not seem to care, that was nice. Plus they fixed my rusty rotors and the clunk without so much as a Peep, and I got my car back the same day. They called me a few days later and they asked me how the car was and if the repairs were up to par. I was impressed my their service.DSM2MSP said:If its really bad then your going to be spending a lot of time sanding like me. Ive been sanding my hubs for about 2 days now, using 40grit sandpaper. Then again, mine are s*** and my freaking lug nuts are also rusted. Sure wish I had a decent dealership around my way that knows what there are talking about_: (one i bought my dealership said the clunk was the spoiler clunking, cant fix it. Other claimed to replace the bushings but nonetheless the noise never went away to begin with after they "replaced" them.)
