Getting Mazda3 This Weekend!

I'm planning on getting a Mazda3 this weekend that I checked out earlier today. One question though: the middle portion of the steering wheel, which I believe is the airbag, wasn't perfectly aligned. Should I be concerned about the car possibly having been in an accident? All of the body gaps felt good and it's a 2009.

if you have any suspicions about an accident, I'd run the carfax on its VIN. It's a 2009 which means, if it's used, it must have been owned for a very short time, and you have to ask why...

The CARFAX is clean and the car is at a large Toyota dealer. I don't always trust CARFAX though. The head guy said it was traded in to their Subaru lot for an AWD wagon, as this state gets a lot of snow (Michigan).

Contact Mazda America and give them the serial number and ask about warranty. I found out that even though my used Mazda looked primo and the CarFax was "clean" it had a voided warranty on the engine only, rest of the car is still covered.
That would give you some idea about the overall condition. If the wheel is crooked and it is fully covered, have them fix it.

Thanks, I'll do that soon.

I ended up getting the car after my dad looked it over and said it was fine. It had what looked to be the original radiator and front end pieces, and the tail gaps were fine and whatnot.

Got it for $16,750 +tax, title, doc fee. Mint condition 09 Crystal White Pearl GT Hatch w/ sunroof/Bose/homelink, 17k miles. Love it so far!
