So which of you GACC'ers is making the journey down? If you are put down when you are planning to arrive at the track and such or if you need a place to crash before heading to the track. Im just trying to gauge the # of people making it down.

The list:
-Me and Wifey - heading to track Wed morning
-Sean (seanmcsean) - plane arrives in Tampa Monday afternoon, riding w/ me
-Joe (Cheese302) - plane arrives in Tampa Tuesday night, riding w/ me
-Luke & JA - coming down Wed

Luke, Eric (Foolish) and I will be heading down on Wednesday via Eric's Mazda babyhauler, but we're going to stop in to visit my Dad & Stepmom before going to the track. We'll most likely get to the track uber-late Wednesday night or sometime Thursday. :)

Actually, I'm still a "maybe". Can't quite get the Dru to commit to letting me go!(bang)(bang)

Well, if I go, she's sitting in Athens with the baby for 4-5 days by herself over spring break. She was talking about flying home to DC, but that would mean sitting around her parent's (not-baby-safe) house for 4-5 days mostly by herself with the baby while her folks are at work, aaand spending money on a plane ticket. So, she started looking for things we could all do together for Spring Break. We'll see what she comes up with, but I'd really like to take this vacation from the baby, not with the baby!

Dont you do a lot of Solo baby watching?
Less now, but for the last year and 1/2, a lot.

I can understand her not wanting to be left here alone over break, but I could really use the time away. I think it's a guy-girl thing. I'd be perfectly happy to be left alone in my house for a week. Thrilled actually. She'd go nuts! Then again, she wouldn't be alone, she'd have the munchkin, and while handling him solo is a chore, she could drop him at daycare on the weekdays and would only have to deal with him all day on that weekend.

I dunno. Maybe I can talk her into it. It might help if our friends with the son Lucas plays with are going to be in town....

yeah, thats quite the situation there. Hopefully she wants what will make you happy and will inconvenience herself for this short period of time since you've done it many many times before...

Im glad we dont have kids....

I think I have the exact opposite situation, Jess is glad to get me out of the house for a week.
