Yeah, it's becoming a very steady trend here on the MF. I don't seem to have this problem on the other boards I sell on. When I did the MKI key chains on MR2OC the GB sold out the 50 key chains and I ended up selling almost 80 of them and had to have more made.

I'm thinking most of the Mazdaspeed Protege drivers are always going back and forth deciding whether to get rid of their car for a car with more serious straight-line power so they don't feel like dumping money on schwag..

It must be an issue with the inferiority complex most guys have. The MSP just can't satisfy their need for speed (or bragging rights). I have people come up to me pretty often asking me how fast the car is and I'm like "no, it's actually really slow. I think it gets 17s. I know it gets 36mpg highway though, and can haul something as large as a twin mattress inside it".
I actually had a hard time convincing the car salesman I was talking to (when I went to go look at a 2003 Mazda6 (4-cyl but really nicely loaded) that the P5 is only 130hp. He was actually trying to sell me a Protege5 (he said "oh if it is still here I think I have the perfect car for what you've said you want") and then took me outside to a sunlight silver 2002.5 Protege5 (just like mine but without the moonroof). I was like "yeah it's a really nice car and all but one problem -- I already have it". My car was like 20 feet away so I just pointed over to it and he laughed. He thought they had 160hp (and he had driven it).. I showed him the specs in the owner's manual
Back on topic though... hell I think I might buy extras to try and get the GB going haha.
