Gauges!!

Hey everyone. I'm new to the this forum and I had a question. How do you get the side pillar off on the Mazda3 HB so that I can put the guage pod on? I see a plastic pin holding it on and I didn't want to force it off or break it. Any suggestions on how to do this???

You have to pull the bottom part out, than pull up. I painted both side black(to match the interior better).
