Ok so I am new to this turbo thing. What is the difference between an electrical and mechanical boost gauge? And which one is better? And if I wanted to put 3 gauges in the vents above the radio in my MS6 what size would I get? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!

Mechanical uses a vacuum line directly from the source, and to me is the better choice. Electrical uses a line to the sender unit, which interprits it and send the information to the gauge to display. However, if there are any electrical problems, faulty wiring, or guage problems from bad shipping, you could get totally wrong readings. I personally run an electric Prosport boost gauge and it saws I'm running 2psi when I run 7-8 :/

52mm are the most common. I'm not a MS6 owner, but I'm pretty sure that's what everyone uses. The guages that match your interior are the Prosport Amber/White series. They are fairly cheap. The only thing better imo is the Defi gauges, but it's close to impossible to find a good, working gauge.

Thanks Mattx. I was looking at the Prosports and I think I might get the EVO boost gauge. And thanks for telling me the difference.

if your looking for gauges, there is a set of 3 for sale in the MS3 for sale section by boosthead and they are cheap and brand new...good guy also.

Hey blue, i too am in the market for a boost gauge for my pearl MS6. Let me know how everything works out for you. im leaning towards Prosport mechanical but not sure
