Well, for those that did not hear the news yet.. Mid Night has been unfortunately taken off the road. In not the best way either..
That being said, it was a big hassle, lots of stuff happening, a lot of back and forth with insurance and everything but in the end I've made out on top. The car is mine, I walk away with no insurance payments, no car payments (paid off), my car and all the salvageable parts (almost all of them basically), and only $288 extra left over (after paying off the car loan with the money from the bank).
At least I have the car, right? Haven't decided what I'm doing next, but regardless if it's another RX-8 or something else, the parts and everything else must come off! THUS, a strip party at my house this Saturday! I'll be there pretty much all day, if you need my address let me know and I'll PM it to you. If you don't wanna help, feel free to stop by and say hi anyways. For those that want to help, I'm taking beer requests as beer will be on me. Getting it towed to my house tomorrow morning, so I'll probably start tomorrow night on some small stuff myself.
If anyone that is coming has stuff like a container to drop coolant and oil in, or extra tools and all, or jacks that I can borrow until I can buy my own (or when I finish stripping the car dry), or anything, that would be a huge help.
