they are so gorgeous, i wish i could afford one.
You can get any Infiniti at invoice, no questions asked :D, If I wasnt so close to paying of the P5 I would go trade it in right now. But I can wait a little longer to get my weekend car :D

I didn't really like driving it. It looks great but it seemed to touchy with stearing and breaking and not touchy enough with the power.

By the way, its not he car payment that sucks on those, its the insurance. My rate would double if I got one compared to the STi.

Yeah, I bet. Is there a luxury tax on the g35??

I would assume so but isn't that by state law? I don't know.
What I do know is most insurance companies classify that as a not only a luxury car but as a sports car too so insurance is nuts.

oh that sucks. what did your insurance jump from mp3 to sti?
You'll love this.

$659/6 months (MP3) -> $722/6 months (STi). I did have a birthday between these policies though.

When I renewed its now $688/ 6 months.

I'm 23 :D

Most of the time, the sportier a vehicle is the more expensive to insure. The actuaries also look at loss statistics. They look and see how often and how big losses are. It also depends on the typical driver of that type of car. Integras get stolen like crazy, usually have younger people driving, who tend to be in more accident and therefore tend to be more expensive to insure.

Back on topic... I actually like the 4 door G35 better. It is a bit cramped in the back seat with 3 regular sized adults. One thing about the G35s, 350Z, FX35, and FX 45 is that their exhausts sound like ass. Sorry for anyone that has one, but that's the first thing I'd change. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

The G35 rides and drives nice but in has one major fault. It has crappy Nissan quality. My friend has one which is a 04 and its already breaking and falling apart. The interior feels cheap like my Sentra's. Don't get me wrong its a sexy car but Nissan/Infiniti needs to improve there products. Like getting away from the shiny plastics. One thing they have going for them is the engine packaging.

G35c and G35/x
Man 298hp and 260lb-ft
Auto 280hp and 270lb-ft

The BMW 3 series, Lexus IS, Saab 9-3, Volvo s60/70, Caddy CTS, and Benz c230/c240/c320 are not even close in HP. The only car in the segment is the Acura TL.

She's aready talking about trading it in either for a BMW 330i or a Acura TL.

They ARE hot...I'd definitely take one. I took this picture driving across Alligator Alley just because of how good the car looked.

I don't think G35 really fit the Other Sport Compacts category though. :p

I don't know about you guys, but I find sitting in G35 isn't exactly very comfortable. My legs are so high up that it's almost touching the steering wheel, not to mention this is the seat pushed all the way back.

Also, is it true that 04 or 05+ won't have Brembo?

TL all the way. Better quality, better resale value, it comes fully loaded, and has similar perfomance for atleast $5K less. Not to mention way better lease programs.

Oh wow, I didn't know there is no more 6spd. I thought it was just the Brembos are out. In that case, yea it's a POS car then...
