has any one seen or done an STS type turbo on a p5? just curious- i'm realy attracted to the idea of combining the exhaust pulse tuning of a good header w/ the "simplisity" of this type instal. (esp. since im into the whole "sleeper" thing) also is there a specific tubo that seems to respond better on the FS? ( t25,t28,t3/04 hybrids?) thanks

the msp turbo (gt25) is a nice lil thing that spool quik and has decent power

if u want more, u'll need to forge the engine

not true!!.. you just have to use supporting mods. and not go crazy with boost.

if he's building a kit he is really not going to use the stock pipes, stock exhaust, stock etc. the price would climb way to high. thus, the gt25 is a great lil tubo to use.... on ANY turbo if u go crazy with boost it'll blow

please dont call me a liar just to promote the kit you have for sale

most likely if you run boosted's turbo kit your going to want forged internals.

im not talking about internals, and neither is the OP

his question was which kit seemed to respond better with the FSDE, I answered the GT25 since he's going to have to get the other necessary parts anyway. it would be the simplest install since parts are around both new and used.

actuly i am prob just gonna run up to 12lbs or less sinnce i have a tiptronic and after writting a $2058 chek (today) for a bare case reman and all the updates for the trany i'm not looking to win dyno drags just build a modest 200hp sleeper i can enjoy everyday. isn't that why we do this-to drive. thnks for the input - after looking @ a stock dyno curve i think it's prob gonna b a 28gtr(aka disco potato)

with an auto, your transmission will blow before the engine does. Some will tell you otherwise, but you really can't go over 9 psi with the auto daily and that's severely pushing it. Just ask bazooka joe or krayziefox. joe's one of the oldest boosted auto P5's on here.
