*Signature Sound* Worked on the oil system. The billet block off adapter and remote filter mount leave a ton of room for improvement. The flow restrictions have been removed

We are also working on a cusomized 626 intake manifold that will be tested on the dyno against the 505 intake manifold.

Here you can see progression of the runner porting

hiding the wires completely
IMG_20120602_222121.jpg

And lastly since there was a change of plans for the fuse box, some wires will be rerouted to behind the dash where the AC condenser used to be
IMG_20120602_222133.jpg

Each wire was de-pinned from its connector and routed accordingly. The ones flopped over the passenger fender will be the engine looms, the rest get tucked back in. There were hours and hours spent on untangling and making sure each loom can be individualized for the cleanest path once the motor goes back in.

*Signature Sound*more progress this weekend. Since we will be putting the engine fuse box under the glove box (mounted to the inside of the air conditioner condensor, but still accessible), we had to extend about 58 wires.

Here is the first of 5 looms

We did them one at a time which required tons of untangling, but a necessary evil to ensure no mistakes.

We also eliminated all the Vampire clamps that were on the ECU going to the SSAFC and soldered the connections, and double heat shrink wrapped them.
The wires are also routed behind the dash a little more functional. The power wires were separated from the shielded signal wires so noise interference will be greatly reduced.

So much to straighten and clean up, but important to keep organized for any trouble shooting that may need to happen later on.

ALL of this got eliminated

*Signature Sound*now it looks like this

So that allowed the hole in the engine bay where the wires for the fuse box previously went thru to be welded shut. A panel was made with the plasma cutter and then mig welded to the car. It will be smoothed out with filler along with many other "eye sore" areas. Here are some before and afters

theres still tons left to do to make it all sealed up. The blower still passes thru this box and will be needed for the heat to function properly. ONLY ambient air will be passing over the fuse box connector wires since the heater core is AFTER this box. So there will be no concern for damage at all. Plus as I mentioned before, access will still be possible from under the glove box.

Damn I really like how they are welding all the holes so it looks way cleaner I wish I could do that. Also like that ur fuze box will beable to be asset as well cause that could be a big problem if u blow a fuze lol

hey Funk - you still running heat? also you interested in a dual Wilwood MC set up? get rid of that OE MC ugliness?

we are building one for the spicy and can maybe make an additional bracket if you are interested. i can source all the parts for you as well. just a thought since you arr going through all the work to get your bay looking hots

Hey Noah, I believe that I will still be running Heat. Im still trying to figure out what MC means. haha For the brakes, I'm replacing all the lines with stainless steel line and deleting the ABS. I am interested in what youre saying. I'd like to know more. I am down for the Willwood setup so I guess it'll all come into play.

master cylinder - I hate when people use abbreviations because i feel all stupid when i dont know what hey are trying to say. I have know idea why I use them sometimes. lazy i guess lol

the idea is we ditch your OE master cylinder and replace with two compact billet willwood master cylinders and ballance bar. a bracket has to be made to mount the master cylinders to the fire wall. stock peddle essembly would be used. I'm making a bracket for the spicy so I can make another for you if interested. your build is crazy enough to warrant a full aftermarket brake set up.

nowadays a good time to do it :)
