inserts will remove alot of the engine rotation and be the mildest mm upgrade. After installing the aftermarket xhaust she clunked hard under full throttle shifts. This was fixed with advice from members to re align exhaust on hangers and I installed cs mm insert. all better. Also the original test with the speed engineer said flat shift, no lift! It can take it. I have found that to be true. If the tranny is broke you will be aware of it every time you drive;if you even could drive. You did not break a tooth. it would skip on every rotation and finish the rest of the teeth in no time. If you worry, change fluid and check it for metallic material. I would think it is something else, and good luck so you can get back to driving with confidence. ps I do not flat shift the car and run purty good in the 1/4. if you want to shave a tenth off the track time i suppose go for it otherwise just work on shifting quickly at the right rpms. just another two cents into the well.
