fuel light

I've put about 20-30 miles on after my light comes on. And when I do that, I usually pump about 13.4 gallons. 14.5 gallon tank.

I can't find it documented anywhere, but I *think* it's about two (2) gallons. I average about 25mpg, so when the light comes on, I note the odometer reading and make sure to fill up before 50 more miles are added on. This is based on filling up when the light came on and subtracting the fill-up amount from the manual's stated fuel capacity.

no, when the light comes on, you have about 2. however, when it comes on, you should try to get to the gas station as soon as possible.

^^^ nope , from my experience its 2.5 gal or a bit more when the light comes on.

I had the light come on and did like 30 more miles from work (considering i had to worm the car up as well just once ) and filled the car w/ 12.3~12.5 gal so

14.5 - 12 = 2.5 - 2.7 gal must had been in the tank when light came on.

Although, once when i was driving from NJ to MI and light came on when i had 365 miles from full tank (doing ~70mph) and kept going until i reached 400 miles then got gas and it only took ~<13 gal.
