I just made and installed my own MBC. But when i boost over 15 psi i get fuel cut. Is there a way to fix this?

With your mods listed you should not be getting any fuel cut. Unless your fuel pump is not operating at 100%. You sure it's fuel cut and not boost cut? Definitely invest in a dashhawk or something to monitor your numbers to see where your problem is...

my fuel pump is fine. i bought the car brand new in febuary of this year. when i turn the boost up past the factory setting (15 psi) the car cuts out. i've read around and someone told me about this thing that atp makes called a boost cut defender. anyone have any info on it?

if the fuel pump goes out before i hit 20k miles that ridiculous, so i doubt thats the prob. the car is doing the same thing that my old MSP used to do when i tried to turn the boost up. it just wont run, its like the whole car just shuts down. i cant turn it up past 15 and its killin me.

and what is a "map clamp"?

noob status statement right there lol

car freaks out when it goes over 15 psi on the stock ecu, so to prevent engine damage it slams the throttle plate shut, this is your cut. A map clamp will trick the ecu into thinking its not going over this 15psi threshold

I bought the VC-2 map clamp which you have to splice into the map harness which im still trying to figure out. But the ATP module just bolts right in line with the map sensor on the intake...in my opinion alot easier!

im gonna go with the atp thing. easy install and its cheaper for broke suckas like me. lol
