Anybody know the exact differences between the fsde and the fsze? The only things I've been able to find are the pistons and cams. Is that really the only difference I know its only 30 hp but still it seems like there would be more than that. And would it really be worth getting fsze pistons over a higher comp arias?

Would it be worth getting the pistons though? I doubt it is I'm thinking all the power is coming from the cams. Its not getting new pistons unless the current rings are bad. I just want a lil more power and throwing a few things in there from the fsze during my rebuild would be a lot easier than finding and swaping an fsze.and also weren't the ecus a lil different too? I think they're obd1

Pistons, cams, and Intake are all different, and you are correct the ECUs are different as well. You would need an ECU and harness from a Japanese model to make it work. I have a FS-ZE intake for sale on the forums and can get you harness and ECU if you ever decide to go down that route...

I wouldn't go that far for the intake I'm just trying to get ideas to get power without turbo 140 whp is my goal
