can you give any tips for applying vynil to a roof with an antenna and sun roof? i attempted this last week and i was not able to get the edges to make a seal around the outside edges, the edges of the sunroof, nor properly cut out for the antenna

I am not really sure how else to explain it, other than taking your time around the antenna. I don't know why your vinyl isn't/wasn't sticking to the edges or sunroof? Could be the vinyl that you bought/are using.

i was trying to tuck it down between the black strips that seperate the roof from the door/quater panel extension and it just didn't want to stay down. may be i should just get it professionally installed

Could be that it was still wet?

Whatever I have by the end of this month, I am just going to end up keeping and use to wrap local cars, haha.

possible but i dont think so. what would the going rate be for an install such as the roof, i purchased two pieces.

sorry -- i didnt feel like scrolling thru the whole thread for a price.. but how much are you charging for matte black?

Don, you still have some of this? Or are you done selling now?

I may be interested in a gloss black sheet for my roof, if you're still offering these sheets. If you had satin black that would be awesome...

Here is a tip for people putting this on there roof, TAKE EVERYTHING OFF
remove the roof rack, take off the antenna, slide the sunroof all the way back, that way u can just lay the whole sheet over the roof and trim afterward

when i did my roof, it was very time consuming but it came out great, you just have to take your time, and make sure you aren't in direct sun

My roof will be easy in this regard. Nothing but roof to cover. Antenna is on the side of what would get wrapped, and no sun roof. Wish I had a sunroof, tho... I miss having one.

I am not selling my gloss or matte finishes, since I ended up just using them. However, if a 48x60" sheet of satin black fits your roof then I can sell you that. I have a roll of satin black that I bought to wrap an entire car with, but had half left over after finishing it.

From the picture, your car looks as easy to do as Subarus' roofs.
