FS issues with Artur1976, buyer beware

Please note that Artur1976 tried to scam me. I paid for an exhaust manifold and Greddy EBC back in EARLY NOVEMBER and he claimed that he shipped it too. After a month of waiting, I decided to send him another message asking what's up. He said he forgot about me and said he would send it the next day.

He made a reply last week in his thread saying that my items were shipped USPS priority to me, but it has been more than a week and I have yet to receive it.

I just opened a dispute on Paypal today because he hasn't replied to me with the receipt.

just checked his thread now and he says the exhaust manifold is BACK UP FOR SALE.

I sent him numerous PMs and he didn't respond.

Becareful and dont' be scammed by him!

What game are you talking about. I failed to ship the parts on time this one time. Head on over to mr2oc.com and look up mr2source I have over 500 feedbacks there. Or on ebay under artur1976 over 200 also. Shipping a part late does not make me a scammer!!!

i think thats up to solo, but if i were him, i would be happy with how it turned out, albeit once it was brought to everyones attention.
artur i think its a shame it got to the point it did, but i think you handled the situation with class and resolved it well. everyone makes mistakes, the thing people want to prevent is a repeat occurance.

seriously this isnt a yellowpro5 situation here. we should be glad the support of the community worked out well and the issue was resolved. and im sure it wont happen again.

I am at not that happy about what has happened, but what's done is done. I am still missing one of the parts (brake booster line) that was promised, so I can't really delete the thread until I receive everything.

I'm not even quite sure what would have happened if I had not created this thread. I mean I did give him all the time (1 month) to do everything, but all I got were lies about stuff were shipped.

It would be up to you guys if you still want to deal with Artur, but it will be my last as I don't want to run into any similar situations. I do appreciate that Artur chose to respond to this thread than to run away though.

if nothing more than for a record of this incident, this thread will not be deleted.. just because he EVENTUALLY made it right doesn't erase the wrongs committed.

If he said he shipped you're stuff, then indeed he is a LIAR. The fact it was brought up upon everyone and the fact he was exposed. Now he's trying to resolve the issue, still makes him a scammer regardless!

Thread stays, just cause he did one right doesn't mean any wrongs should be erased.

He doesn't have a scammer title but this thread is here for anyone to see, seems perfectly fair to me. Once the last part has been received, this thread should be lock but not deleted.

OK, as I already pointed out... the thread WILL NOT be deleted as what happened DID in fact happen, nothing said here is libelous or other than representation of the situation, which from the reports is more than we can say for how Arthur handled the situation. I'm extremely glad everything worked out, but under no circumstances will a thread like this be deleted, for the protection of potential/futuer buyers, I will edit the title to more closely reflect the current state of affairs though.

I completely agree that this thread should not be removed and never asked to have it removed. Once Solo gets the missing brake line and the small refund it would be great if the thread gets locked.

Paypal isn't that much of a PITA, they help when they can.. when he issues the refund the buyer will get the whole amount so I don't see why the seller would need to pay more because of Paypal.

I bought struts from a board member and they were marked as used but still in great shape and work perfect. well once i got them they were beat up and they had no rebound. i had a shop who was gonna put them on test them and they were no good .

That sucks man. It's too bad people can't look beyond the making money part and remember that buying/selling parts from each other is also a service to each other.
