For those of you living in states that require a front plate, you can always get a personal plate that's meaningful to you to ease your front-plate pain. Here's one of my Texas plates for example. (I went and griped about the front plate to the dealer and made them replace the nut that fell off from when I removed the plate to see whether or not they'd poked holes in my bumper. Then I wrote a letter to Mazda USA and copied the dealer and told them I didn't like holes in my bumper, thank you.)
Has anyone gone out and gotten ZUM-ZUM yet in their state?? You could get a permanent marker or some paint and put a couple umlauts above the U's and it would say "ZM-ZM", which is pronouced "zoom zoom". (Go to www.m-w.com and put in "zoom" and you'll get "zm" for the pronounciation.) I think that would look pretty cool, whether you need a front plate or not.
