Front Engine mount

I know this isnt the right forum section but it wouldnt let me post this in the how to section. I searched and couldnt find anything. Just wondering if anyone has some pictures and some instructions on the install of the front engine mount. Thanks

Ha ha!
I just replaced my front motor mount last night with the AWR one. It wasn't all that hard, the only hard part was breaking the one 17mm bolt (used a breaker bar). Besides that I noticed my wheel hop stopped (for the moment) and more tire spin. The vibration is way noticable under 1000 rpm, but I guess I'll have to get used to that. On a side note, I (and a friend) also installed my ION 2.5 dia. downpipe with the MIL eliminator. It is SWEET!!!!

I put mine on two weeks ago and I was wondering as bad as it shakes in idle would it or could shake the front end loose? Cuz I was going to put the rear on also.

if you think just the front is bad... dont even think of installing the rear. it get 3x worse with the rear mount installed.

The shake at idle reduces noticeablely after about a 2 week break in while it settles.
I installed only the front motor mount, and it was noticeable stiffer and had a bit of vibration, which is all but gone.
I still get some wheel hop at the top of 1st and into 2nd, but its not half as bad as stock.
I'd imagine this summer on the warm pavement it will be all but gone.
Definately a must do, and very easy to do mod.
