Front end cover...Bra

FOUND ONE! Wolf makes a bra specifically for the MSP! (dance)

Just need to get it ordered now. Theres only a few weeks left till the love bugs hit too. Right in time. (spin)

Well for an update, I have now got it ordered, BUT Wolf makes these on an order basis. They dont have any pre made due to the limited #s of 03.5 MSPs. If you want one ya better order it in advance if you have a nasty bug season like we do.

I ordered it last week and was told Id have it in early May. So I guess its like a 2-3 week wait for them. Atleast they DO make them for our cars.

just deal with it. bugs wont be that bad, just keep it washed. bras are such a pain in the ass. i was all the time having to take it off, it always left a film underneath, much worse than just bugs. i guarantee you will get sick of it

some what unrelated, but the magnetic bra i bought from protege5online cracked and fell apart after a single use on a road trip last year. just a heads up to anyone looking for a bra, this one is not recommended.

i have always wondered why they call it a bra, its not like if you take it off the headlights will sag... sorry had to say it

Link? I was wishing I had a bra for my trip to Protegefest!

yeah, it's the year of the cicada out here in Maryland. They haven't started coming in yet, but I'm guessing those big ass bugs are really going to **** up the front bumper, hood and mirrors. Guess I should be looking into something as well.

I bought a P5 bra for my mazdaspeed. I only used it for 2 weeks. If you want it I'll sell it to you. I bought it new from the dealer for like $110 or something. Make me an offer.

Well, I tried to get my magnetic bra installed all day Sunday, and I'm ******* pissed! It doesn't want to line up right. Plus, you can't slide it around bucause one, it's magnetic(duh), and two, you'll scratch the paint if there is ANY dirt underneath. Plus, even using a heat gun didn't make it flexible enough to properly conform to the lines of the hood. The ****** just doesn't want to lay flat against the hood! I think I just learned a $47 dollar lesson. DAMMIT!

Hey guys,

I am seeing the problem persists. You want to protect the hood from rock chips and getting all chewed up from the everyday driving on our roads and you are not able to make anything work or you can get a black bra. Have you considered a clear bra. Yeah, your first thought is expensive from what you have heard, right? Well for $70.00 to cover the hood and fenders is right around the same ball park or just a little more.

Just my.02 and thought I would share how inexpensive it really is compatred to other bra options.

yep, I'm going to order about 5ft of the 24" wide 3M X-PEL and apply it myself. I used to do a LOT of vinyl graphics on cars and from what I have read so far on this product, it's not much different. Just have to use a little extra care to make sure nothing gets on the adhesive that will be visible. I did the estimate, I can do it for my car *materials only* for around $70 vs. a couple hundred to have someone else do it for me. :D

edit: it's not 3M the product is called XPEL...

Gopd for you! BTW, 3M is the maker of the film and yes Xpel uses it just like almost everyone else in the industry.

I take it you work for RockBlocker.com??? I figured it would be 3M that makes it, they make every other "quality" vinyl product I have seen, just some websites confuse you a little...:D

yeh i plan to get the hood, fenders, bumpers and mirrors covered....thats a good 2-300 installed right? i need to find a installer in md to do it also...know anyone saabaadoo?

interesting i thought it would cost more.....only 65? but what all is it covering because your site says "typically covers".

but im still wanting a bra over a clear protection. all i want is something to put over my front end for the 11 hour trip and then once i get there i can just take it off and then bam...clean car. even if i have a clear protector, i may have no paint chips but ill still have to clean the front end off. im trying to avoid that.

If you want something on and take it off then tape it...many people do. If you want your hood from chipping, fading and such then clear bra it. The clear bra is a permanent thing that stays on teh car. It has a clear coat finish and looks great if you take care of it (ie wash and wax).

I did my whole hood since the sunis so powerful here in AZ and CF fades really bad, but not mine.

The partial kit includes the hood, fenders and mirrors.
