Front end cover...Bra

I NEED to find a Bra soon and I havent had any luck so far. Love bug season is coming soon and these little critters eat paint like its cool when splattered on your car, they swarm near roads and make a major mess when you run thru them. Weird little bugs to say the least. Even if you wash your car every day you will have paint damage.

I have seen 1 MSP w/ a cover but it was going the other way down the road and I havent seen it since. AFAIK the P5 cover will not fit due to the lower lip.

Its either find a cover or pour tranny fluid all over the front of my car for a few weeks till they are gone. (boom04)

If you cant find a bra, you may want to look into those clear bra things that some shops will put over your front end. Its a clear film that protects your paint from rock chips and such.

Yeah, but that s***'s expensive! Something like $350-400 plus installation. (which is supposedly difficult)

I would think that the nose mask for the P5 would fit on the MSP. They appear to have a very similar front end.

I have considered adding one myself to prevent stone damage. But I just cant bring myself to cover up that awesome Spicey Orange!!!

Are full front bra's available from the dealer? Anyone have one?

I would recommend a clear bra so you can see that spicy orange or whatever color you have. It wont take away from the lines of the car. You can get them for $70.00 for the hood and fenders.

And it will protect against the love bug. It is way cool how the love bug can stain the film like your paint, but in a couple of weeks the stain disappears through bleaching out.

I bought a P5 bra for my mazdaspeed. I only used it for 2 weeks. If you want it I'll sell it to you. I bought it new from the dealer for like $110 or something. Make me an offer.

Yeah, the MP3 bra won't fit the 03.5 MSP. But the LeBra type cover will screw your paint up bad over time. The wind blows the crap out of it, and water and dirt get trapped underneath. And like I said above, those adhesive bras cost a mint...plus the closest installer to me is two hrs. away. Hell, I can't even find a car cover that will properly fit my 03.5 MSP!

Is yours a full bra or just covers the front edge of the hood (like the magnetic bra mentioned above)? Where did you get it? I am looking for something more than just the magnetic dealie, but may pick that up if I can't find anything better.

WHOOPS I forgot I made this post and havent been checking in.

The love bugs dont stain the paint, theyre goo EATS the paint, they dont fade away or anything. If it were a temporary stain I could deal w/ that, these little critters screw up a paint job.

I havent been able to do any research to see what I could find. Too much gong on in my life, but thats a different story yall prob dont wanna hear anyhow. HAHA! I better find something fast, were running out of time, theyll be here soon.

I know the bras will mess up paint also but itll only be on for about 2 weeks twice a year and I keep the MSP pretty damn clean so it shouldnt even have a chance to beat the paint up.
