front bumper question

Where does the bottom hole screw/go in to? Top two screw into the fender, but that bottom one sticks out when the bumper is installed. Figured it should be tucked in somewhere

there is actually a bigger clip like those on ur door panel. 2 of them if i am right.

Right here. There should be a little tab right under the turn signal portion of the headlight that snaps into that hole.

There's a good chance that it's broken though. If you didn't know about when taking off the previous bumper, then you most likely broke it while removing it. They're really easy to snap, but they're also only like $7 from onlinemazdaparts.com

hmm i dont see this clip on either side, never was as far as i can remember. any pics of this clip would sure help

ah, I finally see. I checked the other stock headlight and I see whats missing. My aftermarket headlights did not come with those clips. Guess maybe I was suppose to transfer them from my stock lights. Damn, i've been clipless for like 3 years.... Thanks for the info

Yea it's not a part of the headlight, you're supposed to transfer them to the new ones. Onlinemazdaparts.com has them for like $4.xx each + $6 shipping. So ~$14 shipped for both.

Get some Mazda Tribute windshield washer nozzles too while you're paying for shipping. Much better than OEM Protege ones. They mist instead of the piss stream.

I think the previous owner already changed those. Mine are silver, double nozzle on each side that light up white when headlights are on. Oh, and I already ordered those clips

does the whole thing come off or is it just a cover? The tribute nozzles are direct swap? what year?

The nozzles come out all the way. Lift hood, pop out with 10mm socket or you'll likely have to unscrew them cuz they're aftermarket. Tribute nozzles are a direct swap. I dunno about year.. I know 03 works, not sure what other years are the same.

www.onlinemazdaparts.com is where it's at. Talk to Jason, he'll take care of ya.
