Hi, I have come to this forum because ours is lame, everyone has untasteful topics, and no one does anything remotely interesting to there speed 6's or as they are called over here mazda 6 mps, mps standing for mazda performance series. i have a few queeries. I own a black speed6 and in the U.K spec we only have 256hp 0-60mph or 100kmh takes 6.6 seconds and yours is 5.8! this is so annoying as everything good that comes to this country has to be de-powered or made a little bit not as good.....which is probably why we are such a miserable and ungreatful nation in general.
anyway to the point apparently this has something to do with the PCM any ideas what this is and how this can be upgraded to your specifications. also we only had 4 colour choices, black, red, grey and silver. you guys have white?! thats awesome. Im looking to spend around 5thousand pounds over the next year modding it. any ideas what should be done first. oh and are their plans where you guys are for there to be a next gen speed6?

first thing first....AEM CAI......then downpipe and testpipe......and the exhaust

if u have more $$..then get the access port......remap the ECU to the stage 2

and 5k pounds is quite a bit. get intake and turbo inlet, downpipe/test pipe, new top mount and ap unit. rear motor mount to sharpen up the shifting. short shifter and bushings to do the same. and all that should cost u less then what u want to spend. also new bpv so u can hold the higher boost the ap will let u run

He's about the most anti-american person on TV...ignorantly so. We probably deserve most of it though.

Thanks you guys are massively helpful, trust me it takes around a month to receive that many replies when you post a new thread on the uk speed6 forum. as for Jeremy Clarkson, he is slightly ignorant, but its harmless fun, he is really entertaining thats about as good as it gets here. thanks again.

Funny thing about TG is that it's not really anti-US, but just anti-stupid people. They throw some pot shots in about Americans being fat, but I think they should.

If the above comment is just anti-stupid people, it also suggests that all Americans are stupid. Personally, knowing how proud and patriotic most Americans seem to be, I find it incredible that TopGear is so popular over there.
