From MSP to What's Next For Me

bought an 04 srt 4 26k miles original owner bone stock. pulls HARD for it being stock though.

Yeah, I've always liked the srt4s. I test drove one back in the day and it was a lot of fun. Not to mention, you can mod them to hell and back and they actually like it. I miss my msp, but I don't miss the issues and the dying market.

Turns out that my msp sold from the dealer I traded it to in 1 day! Geez, like hot cakes. I wonder if it has blown up yet. lol

i would like a porsche 911turbo 1989 those are sick, I think i would keep christine though lol

Figure I can post in here. Sold the MSP a few months back and have had this bad boy for about a month now. Not quite an sti but I didn't want that kind of payment and the deal I got was way too good to pass up. It's a 2006 WRX TR, stage 2 with just over 50k now.

You know, I think a WRX is just about all you REALLY need. Can you tell me the difference between a normal WRX and an STi? I can only imagine it'd be suspension, possibly upgraded turbo... but what else? It's all stuff that most people replace or change out anyhow.

There are a LOT of differences from WRX to STi but I would be happy with a WRX. Especially compared to an MSP, although I prefer the Mazda's interior and handling characteristics, i'm not crazy about AWD mostly because i'm not used to it.

Boy... what timing, strolling into a conversation about STIs and AWD.

I haven't been on here for a while... I sold the MSP last winter ( to a very nice young lady from Utah). Remember this one?

I bought two cars; the first was this NA 2005 Subaru 2.5RS with 120k on the odo, and plain as balls lol, but exceptionally straight and clean.

I also bought a 2005 STI that had been totaled with only 17k miles on it and began the process of doing a full STI powerplant / drivetrain (6 spd tranny, unlike the WRX) / modded Feal suspension swap. And 10 months later, here is the result.... My 2005 platinum silver metallic RSTI, running a Stage II tune and making 310 whp / 322 lbs torque at 18 pounds of boost, plus all wheel drive and big Brembo brakes for when I need to stop!

Insurance rates like grandma's econobox, and thrills like an E-ticket at Disneyland!
I spent too much money, but when I'm behind the wheel its worth it.

It was rear-ended and pushed into the car in front; messed up the frame at both ends, but the airbags didn't even deploy. I couldn't have found a better swap candidate.

Had to get a family car. So i traded to a 2006 sierra denali. Man I miss the handling and passing gas stations. But I must admit. the denali is comfy as hell.

Winter tire & wheel setup and ski racks are on.... all ready for Mt. Hood snowboarding season. I'm jazzed; this is what I went to AWD for!

Only thing I would change is the Ebay tow hook, not a fan of those on any car
besides that, huge upgrade over the MSP, congrats
