From MSP to What's Next For Me

You kidding bro! The little 2.0 has mad power with or without bolt ons. I don't have to worry about compressor surge, heat soak, fuel cut or any of that bulls*** you find in the MSP. I put 30K on the RSX and no issues whatsoever to date. So don't hate! Have fun fixing all your MSP problems playboy! Just don't go ZOOM ZOOM BOOM!

Did you read what he said? He doesn't care about the power you can make with Honda's because there is no torque in those things. Where is the fun in that? That's great you have a Honda, but this isn't a Honda forum. So if you're done trolling the Mazda forum now.. click here.

Oh how cute! Your sticking up for your lil buddy! Honda has no power? Really? Keep telling yourself that. Next time save yourself the embarrasment & do your research before making an innacurate judgement on RSX's. There capable of making much more TQ & HP in N/A or forced induction than any MSP I've seen. And what do you care If I'm still an active member on this Forum. AND WHAT! Were is the fun in blowing a piece of s*** turbo seal and running in to all these dumb ass deficiencies. You can thank your ignorant Mazda engineers for that one. I obviously mentioned I had good times in the Mazda seeing I've been driving them for almost 15 years. Just had to move on. And did you even bother reading the thread title "From MSP to What's Next For Me"? Obviously not. So if you wanna get your feelings hurt than thats your hang-up.

Relax guys. And just because you got rid on the MSP doesn't mean you have to hate on everyone here or call names. Back to topic please! I want to see more upgrades (or maybe not so much (evil)) from the MSP!

Although I had tons of fun with the MSP, the list of annoyances was too long even when I took great care of the car, so I was not comfortable knowing that my wife and newborn would be driving around in a car that could let them down at any moment. We got a Mazda 5 for the family (pearl white, leather, 5 speed....who am I kidding, it's a friggin minivan!) and a MS6 to keep my testosterone under control...

Don't worry Mr. Lizardman. Everything is under control. If you read what I mentioned in it's entirety I obviously was not hating on anyone, just defending my position on the matter. I don't claim to be better than anyone else for owning an Acura. All I was trying to convey was the fact that all those dumb problems associated with the MSP were getting old and costly. Other than that the car looked sexy as hell & handled better than any other.

What's funny about that is I have a friend who is about to sell his low mileage rsx for a msp...he got to ride in my car and that convinced him.....

Also just look up the replacement procedure for pulling the alternator on that car....id much rather be pulling the Turbo off my car anyday...

Thats cool. Did he own a Type-S? The 06' was equipped with 210H.P & Stage 1 cams from factory which made it alot more fun to drive. No need for any procedues either on that alternator. I've been a mechanic my whole life working in the industry including an Acura Tech. And really? You would rather replace a blown turbo, spend a few thousand on parts & a replacement cuz theres no rebuild cartridge for the GT2554R just so you know. Guess you have that financial luxury. It's all good...

No im not rich. I just know what a pain in the ass it was to change his alternator. And his is a 02 non type-s. He likes the mower range im at(guessing 180-200hp). He also likes the 4 door factor. I wasnt knocking its a nice car but I'd rather have my msp.

True! With the mods you have your MSP should be running great. I did have the Split Second AFC, 626 Mani & all that good stuff as well until my second turbo seal went out flooding the intercooler and HKS BOV. Soon after the head gasket went and warped the head. Had to throw in the towel!

I can understand that. I just knoticed my seals are starting to leak at 220k miles......but im planning for a rebuild and better Turbo here soon...

Well I'm not here to argue. I still have my msp and I have thought about getting rid of it many of times. I won't lie. I just would be upset about how much money i'd lose in the end. I'm going to end up keeping it for quite awhile. I do really want an msm though. I figure I only need a few more pieces to complete my build to where I'm happy. I'll just do that and enjoy the car for awhile. Its crazy how many people love the car, and how many looks you get or how many people talk to me about it and I only drive it like once a month.

Hello all (hi)

I know most of you guys remember me, just wanted to show ya'll the finished project after the msp :D

For the record, I do not care if you are still an active member and also do not care that you own a Honda. My brother has a TL 6 speed and yea it makes good power and torque, but that's a V6. The point is, there is a difference between sharing your new ride and shitting all over Mazda because you disliked the last one. We are all quite aware of the MSP's problems and don't need anybody to reiterate them.

Not only is the theme identical to your MSP, but it looks like the photo is in the same location LOL. Looks sick dude.

I gotta say... I prefer the MSP on this one. Call me crazy *waits for it* but I just love the MSP styling. Reason I ditched it was because of the aforementioned issues with them and wanted something more stable. Don't get me wrong, I love my XR but the MSP will always have a place in my heart and one day I will own another.

added some pieces...bmw perf parts cf spoiler, black fender gills, and black grills. a few other items will be on later this week.
